CEO / PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Dr. Torres is the CEO of Rehab Concierge Services, LLC in Miami, Florida. She has been practicing physical therapy since 2009 and has experience in several therapy populations including sports Medicine, orthopedics, chronic pain, geriatrics and acute care. She worked as the Lead Physical Therapist at Rosomoff Rehabilitation Center, a multi-disciplinary chronic pain management center in Miami, Florida for 8 years as well as, an acute care therapist at Jackson North Medical Center for 7 years.
12+ Years Experience and Bilingual
She is bilingual in Spanish and has over 12 years of manual therapy and myofascial release experience. Dr. Torres is certified in IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), Kinesiotaping and Dry Needling.
UM Adjunct Faculty Member
In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Torres has been an adjunct faculty member for the University of Miami Kinesiology and Sport Science Department since 2010. She teaches Functional Anatomy, Therapeutic Modalities and Sports Rehabilitation courses for the Master’s in Athletic Training Program.
Education
She received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Miami in Health Sciences with minors in sports medicine and psychology. A Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from NOVA Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
